This Return Policy applies to physical products purchased from the HIPAA Training US store at hipaatraining.us/shop — the HIPAA Privacy & Security Compliance book (signed and unsigned), the HIPAA Training coffee mug, and the framed HIPAA training certificate. It does not apply to the digital HIPAA training certificates earned on our site, which are not store products and are not sold.
You may return eligible products within 14 days of delivery. Return requests made after 14 days from the delivery date cannot be accepted. This window applies to all store products, including the personalized framed certificate.
Items may be returned even if they have been opened or used, provided the return is initiated within the 14-day window and the item is returned in reasonable condition. We ask that you pack returned items carefully to avoid damage in transit.
To begin a return, please contact us through our contact page with your order number (for example, SHOP-XXXXXXXX) and the item(s) you wish to return. We will respond with return instructions and the address to send your item to.
Please do not ship items back before contacting us — returns received without a prior request may be delayed.
Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping. We recommend using a trackable shipping service, as we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item. Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will process your refund to the original payment method used at checkout. Refunds typically appear within a few business days after the item is received, depending on your bank or card issuer.
The refund covers the price of the returned product(s). The original $5.00 shipping charge and any return shipping costs are not refunded.
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us promptly — within the 14-day window — and include a description and, where possible, a photo. In these cases we will make it right at no additional cost to you, including covering return shipping or sending a replacement.
The framed HIPAA training certificate is produced to order using the name and details from your completed, verified training certificate. It is eligible for return under the same 14-day terms above. Because it is personalized, we are unable to resell a returned certificate; if you believe the details are incorrect due to an error on our part, please contact us and we will correct and reissue it at no cost.
